Jeremy D. McConnell, MD, FOMA, DABOM

Dr. McConnell is board certified in Family, Sleep and Obesity Medicine, and has practiced Obesity medicine for 23 years.  He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and Master Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. McConnell completed his residency and chief-residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.  He is the founder of Florida Sleep Specialists and Discover Health Obesity Medicine in Bradenton and Sarasota Florida.  As a person with obesity since childhood, he is passionate about educating colleagues about the disease of obesity, and advocating for access to treatment.
