Lisa Ferreira, MD, FOMA, DABOM, DABLM

Dr. Lisa Ferreira is a family medicine and obesity medicine physician practicing at the AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Family Medicine Residency Program in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She is board certified in family medicine, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. In addition to her obesity medicine practice, she also serves as family medicine faculty.

 Prior to joining the AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Family Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Ferreira's practice experience included a non-surgical obesity medicine practice at the Advent Health Bariatric and Metabolic Institute at Tampa and a family medicine at BayCare Medical Group for 18 years. She received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical School and her residency and chief-residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Ferreira is an active member and fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of the American Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. 

     In her spare time, Dr. Ferreira enjoys scuba diving, biking, gardening, and traveling internationally with her husband and 3 boys.
