Lisa Ferreira, MD, FOMA, DABOM, DABLM

Dr. Lisa Ferreira is an obesity medicine physician practicing at the AdventHealth Bariatric & Metabolic Institute in Tampa, Florida. She is board certified in family medicine, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. Prior to joining AdventHealth, Dr. Ferreira practiced family medicine at BayCare Medical Group for 15 years before she began to incorporate obesity medicine into her practice. She received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical School and her residency and chief-residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Ferreira is an active member and fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of the American Society for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. 

     In her spare time, Dr. Ferreira enjoys scuba diving, biking, gardening, and traveling internationally with her husband and 3 boys.
