Michelle Pearlman, MD

Michelle Pearlman is a physician–nutrition specialist and the cofounder of Prime Institute, a concierge medical practice based in Coral Gables, Florida, focused on evidence-based nutrition, weight management, gut health, and cardiometabolic optimization. She is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and obesity medicine, and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner. Prior to founding Prime Institute, Dr. Pearlman established and led the medical weight management program at the University of Miami, where she integrated clinical nutrition, obesity medicine, and gastrointestinal care into comprehensive treatment models. She received her medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her residency at UC San Diego and gastroenterology fellowship training at UT Southwestern.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pearlman is the CEO and cofounder of ByteMD, an AI-powered nutrition and gut-health platform designed to help individuals and clinicians personalize dietary strategies, manage GLP-1 therapies, and identify food-related symptom triggers through data-driven insights. She is an active speaker, educator, and thought leader in obesity medicine, women’s health, and digital health innovation.

In her spare time, Dr. Pearlman enjoys early-morning strength training and running, exploring new fitness modalities, traveling to health and technology conferences, spending time with her family, and building community around the idea that muscle, nutrition, and movement are foundational to long-term healthspan and longevity.
